If you’re looking to sell unused medications, Hoosier Test Strips works with buyers who purchase certain unopened, unexpired medications and health supplies. Because availability and pricing varies depending on what you have and current buyer demand, we ask that you contact us first before sending anything. That said, if you have GLP-1 medications, certain inhalers, or insulin, there’s a good chance we can help.
What We May Accept
We currently work with buyers who purchase certain unused medications including:
- Weight loss medications — GLP-1 class such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro
- Inhalers — certain brands accepted
- Insulin — contact us to verify current buying status
Availability changes based on current buyer demand. As a result, we ask that you contact us first to confirm we’re actively buying before shipping or bringing anything to us.
Important Requirements
All medications and supplies must meet the following requirements to be considered. First, everything must be unopened and unexpired in original manufacturer packaging — we can’t accept anything opened, damaged, or past its date. In addition, the medication cannot be a controlled substance. Beyond that, it must have been obtained legally through a valid prescription. Finally, packaging and labeling must be intact with no damage.
We are not a pharmacy. This is a legal secondary market for unused supplies. If you have questions about whether what you have qualifies, just ask — we’re happy to give you a straight answer.

Why People Sell Unused Medications
It happens more often than most people realize. In many cases a doctor changes a prescription and now there’s an unopened box of Ozempic or Mounjaro sitting in a refrigerator. In addition, some people switch medications due to side effects and have supplies left over. Others had insurance send too many boxes before a dosage change. Whatever the situation, selling unused medications that were legally prescribed to you is a legitimate transaction in the secondary market. According to the FDA’s guidance on drug disposal, unused medications are a widespread issue — and the secondary market provides a legal alternative to simply discarding them.
How to Inquire
The process is simple. First, contact us with what you have — medication name, quantity, and expiration date. From there, we’ll let you know quickly if we’re currently buying and at what price. If the price works for you, we’ll either arrange a local pickup or walk you through the process. There’s no obligation and no pressure either way.
